BoardMasters Music Festival
Okay, so you have to time this one right, but the BoardMasters Music Festival is well worth a mention in this list. The event runs for 4 days at the beginning of August and attracts some of the worlds biggest artists, including Snoop Dog, Chase & Status, Rudimental and Bastille to name a few.
The festival also sees big names take part in surfing, BMW and skateboarding competitions.
Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen
Since Jamie Oliver decided to open up shop in Watergate Bay a few years ago, his restaurant has been a huge hit. Serving up fine Italian cuisine with a Cornish twist with a panoramic view of the bay is a hard combination to beat.
Coasteering
Taking a coasteering tour not only allows you to explore the Cornish coast, but it’s also a huge thrill. There are few bigger adrenaline rushes than jumping from a rock/cliff into water and taking a tour with someone like Newquay Surfing School allows you to do just that but in the safest way possible.
A Walk Along The Headland
On a sunny day, we highly recommend a walk along Newquay’s Headland, passing the famous Fistral Beach and the stunning Newquay Harbour. Start at the far end up Fistral beach, walk along to the headland and follow the path towards Newquay. Head towards the harbour and into Newquay town centre. If you want to continue, you can walk along to Lusty Glaze and beyond.
